We develop industrialised solutions for complex envelopes, combining design, calculation, factory fabrication and on-site installation within a single engineering process.
By industrialised solutions we mean building envelopes whose components are designed, calculated and manufactured in a factory through controlled processes, and then assembled on site with millimetre-level precision. Each project starts from a BIM or 3D model that allows us to anticipate the behaviour of the envelope before any production phase begins. This approach allows us to move a large share of the project's technical complexity into a controlled environment (our own production facilities), reducing the margin of error, execution times and the impact of the works on the surroundings. Although we are not manufacturers of the cladding, in most of our projects we manage its design, coordinate its production and take charge of its on-site installation, as is the case in practically all of our glazed solutions.
Unlike a traditional construction process, industrialisation does not mean giving up the uniqueness of each project. At Lanik we develop our own structural technology (systems such as SLO, ORTZ, SEO or PARPADO) that allows us to manufacture highly precise components in series without losing the ability to adapt each structure to a specific geometry, span or environmental conditions.
Our industrialised solutions cover a wide range of types: from large-span space and single-layer structures to retractable systems, laminated timber solutions or highly complex façades. In every case, the process relies on digital modelling, CNC manufacturing and our own installation team, which guarantees project traceability from the first calculation to completion on site.
This way of working offers proven advantages over conventional construction solutions: greater quality control thanks to manufacturing in a stable environment, shorter construction times, less waste and a notable improvement in safety during installation, as the operations that must be carried out on site are reduced.
